Good to see \x27unfortified\x27 version.
As the nutrient table shows, there are plenty of vitamins in nutritional yeast, without needing to add-in synthetics that many users don't want. It doesn't match the taste of a good dairy cheese but does add 'umami' and makes a useful ingredient in a wide range of dishes. Good for soups, sauces, pasta, etc., especially if you're avoiding dairy.
unusual product
I was sent a coupon to review this product by Ocado. You can sprinkle it on soups, pasta, porridge, etc to give a savoury taste . Extra boost of protein
Odd taste
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free coupon from Ocado. It can only be used for savoury foods. It says it can be sprinkled on cereal but who wants cheesy cereal. It had an odd taste and not very cheesy.
Tasty
I received this free to review. I am vegetarian and glad this was bought to my attention as I wouldnt have considered it. It brings and earthy taste to my veggie stews, added it to lots of meals and would buy again. Not overpowering, just adds something that is sometimes lacking in an all veggie meal. Great!
surprisingly ok
I am reviewing this because I was sent a sample by Ocado. We added it to a stew and it was absolutely fine. Nice alternative to meat.
A good tasting seasoning.
I am reviewing this because I received a free sample from Ocado. This is not something I would normally buy but I tried stirring it into a curry and a casserole. Yet to eat it on anything cold. Gave a nice flavour to the dishes but not sure that it tasted of cheese. However I can see that I will use it again as a seasoning in a stew or casserole.
